Catherine Thimmesch, a children't author, made a visit McKinley school!
She read us one of her books and talked with us about writing.
She told us that when she is writing she doesn't like to just sit in a chair all the time.
She likes to find different places/ways to write.
Some times she even writes hanging upside down on a chair!
We decided that we needed to try out some different ways to write too!
